Project information
Engineering and Detailing Coordination
The official capabilities content describes engineered drawings and detailing support. That wording does not establish that USA Structural is the engineer of record or supplies professional engineering in any jurisdiction.
Information used for coordination
Fabrication review may use contract drawings, equipment cut sheets, loading criteria, member sizes, connection information, elevations, field dimensions, finish specifications, and required submittal procedures supplied by the project team.
- Structural and architectural drawings
- Equipment weights, dimensions, and support points
- Design loads and criteria from the responsible professional
- Connection and anchorage requirements
- Finish, inspection, and submittal requirements
Responsibility boundaries
Loads, wind and seismic criteria, roof capacity, anchorage design, code interpretation, and final design approval remain with the project's responsible licensed professionals unless a written project agreement explicitly establishes a different scope with appropriately licensed parties.
Release for fabrication
Projects should not be released for fabrication until dimensions, design information, revisions, interfaces, finishes, and approval status are clear. Any detailing or drawing deliverable is governed by the accepted project scope.
